Workshop: The Film Collective

The Film Collective is a group of individual filmmakers that come together once a month to develop original film/TV scripts, feedback on each others’ work and collaborate on new projects with ethnic diversity at the forefront.

The aim of the group is to foster video content developed by or involving content about diverse groups, currently primarily Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) groups, however this focus will be expanding in the next few years. We aim to challenge the negative stereotypes and lack of representation on screen and drive diversity in the video content industry behind and in front of the camera.
